🌟 Mwakijembe Secondary School Prize Giving Day 🌟
The Angaza Center team had the privilege of attending the Mwakijembe Secondary School Prize Giving Day in Kwale County; a truly inspiring event celebrating academic excellence and community achievement.
The strong 2025 KCSE performance highlighted the impact of dedication, effective leadership, and the integration of ICT in learning, with several students advancing to university and others to middle-level colleges.
We are proud to partner with Mwakijembe Secondary School in advancing digital literacy and empowering students for future success. Congratulations to the entire school community on this remarkable achievement.
Irigithathi: Bridging the Digital Divide
We are proud to announce the successful launch of an ICT Resource Center at Irigithathi Secondary School in Nyandarua County 🚀
This milestone, led by Angaza Center, marks a significant step toward bridging the digital divide in our communities. Through this initiative, we donated 42 laptops, creating a fully operational ICT hub that will empower both learners and educators with essential digital skills.
Mentorship Session at St. Joseph Matiku Secondary School
Angaza Center recently held an impactful mentorship session at St. Joseph Matiku Secondary School, where students gained valuable insights into future career opportunities in the digital space.
With support from scholars from United States International University-Africa under the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, students were introduced to emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence and guided on available scholarship and bursary opportunities.
The session helped bridge the information gap, equipping students with clarity, motivation, and practical steps toward achieving their academic and career goals.
🤝 Expanding Impact Through Partnerships
We are proud to announce a new partnership with the Rwanda ICT Chamber, marking a step toward expanding digital access in rural schools across Rwanda.
Closer home, our collaboration with Strathmore University, launched on 27th February at Strathmore Business School, is already making impact; starting with over 800 students at Lang’ata Boys High School and the donation of 40 computers.
Together, these partnerships are helping us scale digital literacy, co-create future-ready learning (including AI), and build sustainable, locally-driven solutions for Africa. 🌍💻✨
